Immerse yourself in crystal-clear Mediterranean waters as you explore the remains of an ancient Roman wall beneath the surface.
Led by experienced guides, this 2-hours snorkeling experience offers a unique opportunity to witness history and marine life converge in a stunning fusion. Marvel at the centuries-old wall and Roman Amphorae while observing colorful fish that have made this site their home. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or a nature lover, the guided snorkeling activity at the Roman Wall has something for everyone.
During this program you will receive a briefing from a PADI Professional that will include information about basic snorkeling techniques and Mediterranean marine life. The snorkeling techniques will include how to effectively clear a snorkel and how to duck down below the surface. You will also be given a briefing on the marine life you can expect to see and how to spot them.
Each participant will receive a mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit for those that want them.
Your guide will help you to adjust your mask and snorkel to fit you perfectly and take you on a tour of the marine park. During the tour your guide will point out areas of interest as well as any marine life which you may not have spotted! And the possibility of spotting green or loggerhead turtles during turtle season makes it an unforgettable adventure.
