The PADI Bubblemaker is for children to experience diving in shallow water with full scuba gear. Our friendly PADI instructors teach in a safe, confined environment and help all young divers ‘learn through play’ to acquire their first scuba skills.

The Bubblemaker is made up of two different sessions on different days: Bubblemaker Pool and Bubblemaker Sea.

During the pool session, they will be given a briefing about safety, hand signals, and how the equipment works. When they are ready, they will jump into our swimming pool to practice swimming around and equalising their ears. Our instructors will help them master skills and enjoy being underwater whilst playing games!

Once your child has completed the pool session, they will receive their certificate! If the instructor is happy and the children are comfortable with the equipment, they are able to dive in the sea.

The sea portion takes place at our training dive site, Roman Wall. This is just a 2-minute walk from our dive centre and is a great place for parents and families to snorkel. During this dive, they will go to a maximum depth of 2m, there are plenty of opportunities to see lots of marine life. In the shallows, we often find Rainbow wrasse and Green turtles grazing on the sea grass!
